Life has a way of giving you a massive reality check at times though doesn't it?

On Friday I was told that Val Franklin had passed away, then on Sunday we found out that Rob Burrow had lost his battle against the disease. A stark reminder that at present there is only one winner when MND is involved.
I'm guessing that some of you reading this may well have known Val and so are fully aware of the lovely person she was. I first met her next to the 18th green at Rushcliffe Golf Club, as we waited for a group of ladies to finish a '72 holes in a day challenge'. Raising money for Stand Against MND. Val was one of the first people I'd met in person who also had MND. At that time I was visibly more advanced in my progression than Val, in my powered wheelchair and reliant on my ventilator. A casual observer would never have known we had the same illness.
Val would later tell me that she found that first meeting quite difficult. Looking at me was frightening, like seeing what the future could hold. To their enormous credit, Val and her husband Pete agreed to come over for a cup of tea to pick my brains about my journey. Nobody ever warns you about the mountains of admin that come with a degenerative disease, and if you don't keep up with it at your end you might not get the help you need. I'd been through a lot of it and I hope had a few useful tips.
Opening up and wanting that information takes immense courage. It shows in my view an acceptance of your circumstances, and a determination to make the most of the time you have. I'm so pleased that Val and I shared that outlook.
You would never have known what we were discussing based on the amount of laughter in the room. I was left with that familiar feeling of confusion as to why MND seems to attack such lovely people.
Val and her family became and remain stellar supporters of the charity, and I would frequently see them at the monthly golf club quizgo (highly recommended if you enjoy trivia and are of course willing to donate any winnings to a local charity...)* Val always had a smile and a chat whilst Pete always had a one liner at the ready.
*Not compulsory
Over time we saw each other less and less as we both found spending time out and about more challenging, until I heard the news last Friday. RIP Val, it was lovely to know you. All my love to the Franklin family.
A life with MND, particularly when you are integrated with patient communities on line and in person, means that losing people is tragically a frequent occurrence. A consistent reminder of your own proximity to death.
So how to react to such sobering news on such a regular basis? I remember I am alive. I have opportunity. I love. I laugh, I strive, I experience. In Vals honour, in Robs honour, for all the fallen warriors I've lost along the way,
I will live the most significant life I can muster.
Nothing else matters

Good day viewers, I wish to share my testimony with all of you. I have daily 9 to 5 jobs, but while I work, I try my luck at playing instant Lotto. On this particular day, I decided to seek help online regarding tips for winning the lottery, and I saw many individuals testifying about Meduza spells. I reached out to him and informed him that I needed help to win the lottery, and he clarified the process to me, stating that after he casts the spell, it will take 48 hours for him to provide me the winning numbers, which I accepted. I followed all his instructions, and he provided me with the numbers to enter the Lottery. After the draw the following morning, I received a notification on the Lottery app on my phone indicating that I was the lucky winner of $273 million on the New Jersey Lottery and I’m here to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Meduza. If you seek for assistance in any aspect of your life, WhatsApp Meduza via +1 807 907 2687 or Email: lordmeduzatemple@hotmail.com

I met my wife when I was working and living in Alaska. Ever since we got married, it has been all good till she decided to go for a summit in another state where she met someone who became closer to her and eventually he eloped with her. All my efforts to get back home to me was all in vain and her family did their best to reunite us but nothing worked. Just like everyone else, I came in contact with Dr Isikolo and he eventually did wonders and now my wife is back to me. It was revealed that she was hypnotized by the guy who eloped with her. I am glad I never let my emotions get the best of me to have ended my marriage with her. Dr Isikolo is a strong spell caster and trust him when he says the results will manifest just after 48 hours. HOW TO HIRE A GENUINE CRYPTO RECOVERY SERVICE WITH WEB BAILIFF CONTRACTOR
My name is Robert Alfred, and I’m from Australia. I’m posting my experience with the hope that it will be helpful to others who’ve been victims of crypto scams. A few months ago, I became the victim of a false crypto investment scam linked with a broker company. I’d invested heavily at the time when Bitcoin prices were rising, thinking it was a golden opportunity. I was unfortunately scammed of $120,000 AUD and the broker blocked me from accessing my digital wallet and funds. It was a terrible experience that gave me a lot of sleepless nights. Cryptocurrency scams are increasingly common today and typically include fraudulent trading websites, phishing, and fake investment proposals. I was desperate, and a friend from the crypto community suggested Web Bailiff Contractor Service, which had a reputation for assisting victims in recovering stolen or lost funds. I did my research, read some positive reviews, and contacted Web Bailiff Contractor. I gave them all the information required—wallet addresses, transaction history, and chat logs. Their professional team got back to me immediately and started the investigation. Using sophisticated blockchain tracking methods, they traced the stolen Dogecoin, located the scammer’s wallet, and worked together with the appropriate authorities to freeze the funds before they were transferred. Miraculously, within a 24-hour period, Web Bailiff Contractor was able to recover the majority of my stolen crypto holdings. I was ecstatic with relief and so thankful. Their professionalism, transparency, and regular updates throughout the process provided me with hope when I was in a very dark place. If you have been a victim of a crypto scam, then I highly suggest them with absolute confidence reaching out
