Nothing Else Matters...

Nothing Else Matters...

I've started writing this post about three times over the past few days. Reading back over the initial drafts is difficult. I was feeling quite sorry for myself and unloading all of my frustration onto the blog. I needed to rant about all the things MND has taken from me, all the things I want to be able to do that I can't, and never will again.

Life has a way of giving you a massive reality check at times though doesn't it?

On Friday I was told that Val Franklin had passed away, then on Sunday we found out that Rob Burrow had lost his battle against the disease. A stark reminder that at present there is only one winner when MND is involved.

I'm guessing that some of you reading this may well have known Val and so are fully aware of the lovely person she was. I first met her next to the 18th green at Rushcliffe Golf Club, as we waited for a group of ladies to finish a '72 holes in a day challenge'. Raising money for Stand Against MND. Val was one of the first people I'd met in person who also had MND. At that time I was visibly more advanced in my progression than Val, in my powered wheelchair and reliant on my ventilator. A casual observer would never have known we had the same illness.

Val would later tell me that she found that first meeting quite difficult. Looking at me was frightening, like seeing what the future could hold. To their enormous credit, Val and her husband Pete agreed to come over for a cup of tea to pick my brains about my journey. Nobody ever warns you about the mountains of admin that come with a degenerative disease, and if you don't keep up with it at your end you might not get the help you need. I'd been through a lot of it and I hope had a few useful tips.

Opening up and wanting that information takes immense courage. It shows in my view an acceptance of your circumstances, and a determination to make the most of the time you have. I'm so pleased that Val and I shared that outlook.

You would never have known what we were discussing based on the amount of laughter in the room. I was left with that familiar feeling of confusion as to why MND seems to attack such lovely people.

Val and her family became and remain stellar supporters of the charity, and I would frequently see them at the monthly golf club quizgo (highly recommended if you enjoy trivia and are of course willing to donate any winnings to a local charity...)* Val always had a smile and a chat whilst Pete always had a one liner at the ready.

*Not compulsory

Over time we saw each other less and less as we both found spending time out and about more challenging, until I heard the news last Friday. RIP Val, it was lovely to know you. All my love to the Franklin family.

A life with MND, particularly when you are integrated with patient communities on line and in person, means that losing people is tragically a frequent occurrence. A consistent reminder of your own proximity to death.

So how to react to such sobering news on such a regular basis? I remember I am alive. I have opportunity. I love. I laugh, I strive, I experience. In Vals honour, in Robs honour, for all the fallen warriors I've lost along the way,

I will live the most significant life I can muster.

I was defrauded of my cryptocurrency investment because I ended up in the wrong hands and had $845,000 worth of Bitcoin stolen. I was on the verge of giving up after learning that it couldn’t be located or retrieved, but luckily I stumbled onto an internet article about Recovery Hacker101, a recovery expert. I reached out to them and collaborated with them to give it a shot. I was shocked to learn that they were able to retrieve $545,860 of the money that was stolen from me, even though I never imagined it would be possible. I have chosen to share this with anyone who might need this kind of service. Recovery Hacker101 is a fantastic resource for Bitcoin recovery. Contact them at recoveryhacker101@gmail.com.

Some statements people make may appear unbelievable, yet they reflect their truth due to their personal experiences. I’m a truck driver and I enjoy playing the lottery, but it’s been 8 years without winning anything significant. I became upset over this and chose to seek help online from anyone skilled in using spells to win the lottery since my grandma had faith in spells and a story about Lord Meduza spells drew my interest. I obtained his contact information, and we discussed all aspects of how he could assist me. In less than 72 hours, Lord Meduza provided me with the lottery numbers I required after he completed the spell for me. I purchased my ticket online, followed the guidance of Lord Meduza, and now my life is fortunate because I won a $42.5 million Jackpot in the lottery I participated in. I’m thankful to Lord Meduza because he truly keeps his promises..

I always believed cold wallets were the safest way to store crypto. That belief was shattered when I mistakenly reset my device and lost access to over $179,000 worth of Bitcoin and USDC. I had backed up the seed phrase, or so I thought, but during the reset, I realised the backup was incomplete. I couldn’t access my funds, and panic set in.
After days of trying to recover access on my own, I turned to forums and online resources. That’s when someone recommended Morphohack, a cyber recovery service specialising in blockchain forensics and crypto recovery. The team at Morphohack was calm and professional. They analysed my case and used specialised tools to trace my transactions and reconstruct the wallet environment. To my disbelief, they managed to recover access to my assets and $179,000 returned safe and secure.
It was a huge relief like getting a second chance. I’ve since doubled down on secure backups and proper key management. But if you ever face a loss like mine, don’t assume it’s permanent. Morphohack gave me hope when I had none, and they delivered results when no one else could. Their email. Morphohack@cyberservices. com

I humbly request that you speak with me regarding Recovery Hacker101, a great hacker who assisted me in recovering my money after I fell for a dishonest Crypto Investment scammer. My fiancée broke up with me because I had lost all of my life savings to this ripper, and I was so destitute that I couldn’t even afford to purchase food or pay my rent. After seeing this hacker’s advertisement, I reached out to him at recoveryhacker101@mail.com and gave him the details of my predicament. I thought he was merely a hacker because he said he would assist me get my money back, but Recovery Hacker101 showed me that he could. I was startled when he eventually received my $357,000 USD back from the rippers.
